Novinarski trening Energija će trajati do kraja februara 2012. godine.

Energy - a new theme of the journalist training

The training that closes a cycle of four journalist courses in 2011 is dedicated to energy, the energy resources, the alternative method of energy production and the green economy. In the group are students at the final year of journalist study from three Belgrade’s universities and young journalists at the start of professional career.

A three-day workshop began with the opening lectures on specific and technical topics delivered by Lidija Udovicki (Continental Wind Serbia), Jugoslav Cosic (KeyConnection Media Production, TV B92), Jasmina Spasic Lukac (Danas daily), Igor Bozic (RTV Vojvodina) and Vladimir Pejcic (www.upravusi.rs).

A group meeting was held so as to select themes after which followed the practical work in the KCMedia production, the first shootings are currently underway and soon we expect the first editing.

The journalist training Energy will be completed by the end of February 2011.

 Wind As Energy Source

In the recent years the number of countries using wind as an energy power is growing. Has Serbia similar potential? Its Košava-swept plains are actually a true mine for windmills but this advantage is still unexploited. However there are investors interested to develop this source of energy and, in July 2011, Serbia passed an upgraded Energy Law so as to support this development. It is impossible for one country to be fully energy independent but the goal is to take advantage of the given potentials as much as possible. The current estimations foresee that wind will spin the first turbine blade in Serbia in 2014.

 Grejanje uz pomoć bunarske vode

Korišćenjem bunarske vode i toplote iz zemlje, ušteda električne energije je i do sedam puta veća nego korišćenje klasičnog centralnog grejanja. Toplotne pumpe omogućavaju podno, zidno i plafonsko grejanje.

 Well Water For Heating

Using well and earth water for heating can save electric energy up to seven times in comparison with the traditional central heating. The heat pumps are used to heat/cool floors, walls and ceilings. Each of these can be turned on/off according to one’s wish. Also, the whole system is digitalized. Just imagine that, before coming home, by pressing a button you can enter a heated or cooled house depending on you need.

 Pametne zgrade

Kako funkcioniše pametna tehnologija, odnosno kako se njome upravlja i dokle sežu njene mogućnosti videćete u prilogu o pametnim i štedljvim zgradama.

 Smart buildings

In time when one can hardly imagine a day without technology and when everything is in a great measure subordinated to life online, there are emerging concepts that were unbelievable and inconceivable only 10 years ago. Today, we meet smart technology every day in the form of mobile phones, buildings, computers and cars. All these used to be set on via a keyboard if we speak about mobile phones or computers or on gas if we speak about cars and other vehicles. Today we interact with all these devices and structures using an advanced technology like a touch screen i.e. a computer designed for such functions. How does this smart technology actually run i.e. how it is operated and what are its possibilities you can see in the report on smart and cost-saving buildings.

 Energy-efficiency In Kindergartens

In two Belgrade’s neighborhoods, Veliki Mokri Lug and Rakovica, newly opened kindergartens comply with the energy-saving standards. One of these energy-efficient objects is heated with the beech-tree biofuel while another has an isolation that maintains a preset temperature. Kindergartens are opened and parents are happy with their look and functionality alike.

The authors of both the idea and design say that their expectations are fulfilled.

 Prva solarna fiskulturna sala

 First Solar Gym

For nearly a decade the issue of alternative energy sources and their efficiency is being discussed in Serbia.

One of rare examples that illustrate the use of solar energy is the sports hall at the Branko Radičević School in the vicinity of the town of Surčin. This project ensures healthier and safer physical activities. The sports hall, designed by engineer Milenko Milinković, shows that new technology is available in Serbia and that all that is needed is a good will and some effort.
